Grove of the Patriarchs

<p><strong>Access update:</strong> The Grove of the Patriarchs trail is closed to all public entry after flooding damaged the suspension bridge that provided safe access. The National Park Service says the trail will remain closed until the bridge is replaced; construction is currently planned to begin in 2028.</p><p>Do not cross barriers or enter the closed area. Seasonal access to the parking lot, restrooms, highways, and nearby trails can change with weather and construction. Before driving, review the <a href="https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/conditions.htm">Mount Rainier current conditions page</a> and the <a href="https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/park-construction.htm">park construction updates</a>.</p><p>For an open nearby outing, the NPS currently lists Silver Falls trail access from the Grove parking area when roads and conditions allow.
