Sourdough Ridge

Sourdough Ridge is one of the most rewarding scenic trails in the Sunrise area, offering expansive views of Mount Rainier, alpine meadows, surrounding valleys, and distant Cascade peaks. The open ridge provides a dramatic contrast to the dense evergreen forests found at lower elevations, making it particularly photogenic for visitors searching for wide-open mountain scenery.

The trail is especially beautiful during summer when alpine wildflowers cover portions of the surrounding meadows.
